It was just five months ago that they put you on my belly, wet and bloody, divine and crying. You are the best that ever happened to me. The moment I knew you were growing inside of me, the dark clouds of infertility started to disappear and they are all but gone by now. For months and years I was bitter, I forgot how it was to be happy. You make me happy, fulfill me and make the difficult past years all worth while. I'd do it all again if you are the grand prize.
When you are done with your lunch nap I will take you for a walk to the hospital where you were conceived and born as I usually do each 30th of the month. I will probably have to fight back the happy tears - or maybe I just let them run. I love you my baby, and pappa does too.
